Gali Nir
Capturing beautiful moments with my camera.
I’m Gali Nir, a technology oriented photographer and graphic designer from Israel.
I currently work at a non-profit organization called “Shekulo Tov” (it loosely translated to “a thing which is all heart”.
I’m part of a team in a sheltered workshop that helps people who are dealing with mental challenges get rehabilitated and helps them prepare for working in the free labor market.
It’s a factory called Zot Zot where we print photos and designs on products using a technology called sublimation.
I am mainly responsible for teaching computer software basics and Photoshop to the service users but I also have the same other responsibilities as the rest of the team.
In November 2014 I hosted my first photo exhibition called “Inside and Out”.
It was held at a gallery in Givatayim, Israel.
13 photos were sold during the opening of the exhibition.
